From Sarina's desk - today (17th September 1979) we celebrate 31 years in business!
Hi to All!
Congratulations to you all! 31years of continuous success in
business in the 21st century is an extraordinary milestone for us
all!
This is an exciting day for all of Management, staff, clients,
family and friends to reflect on our success over the last 31 years
in business on a state, national and global scale!
From humble beginnings in 1979 fired as a secretary with $2600
in capital to now us being a top 400 privately owned Company in
Australia: we can celebrate our individual, team and Group
contributions to an extraordinary story of passion commitment,
drive and self belief!
We have as a Group enhanced thousands of people's lives, through
education, training and job creation! A big thank you!
I want to again, and again personally thank you today, tomorrow
and beyond, and ask you to celebrate with me!
Let's drive attitude and have gratitude for what we have
achieved through this journey of 31 years!
Our extraordinary capacity to tap our full potential from today
and beyond!
We are a group of geniuses with talent, expertise, experience
and abundance of passion to excel and compete in good and tough
times!
Over 3 decades, we have seen change in our industry and today
"rapid change", whilst its inevitable, we are proud of the Group's
ability to adapt, re-engineer, services, products including
ourselves. For me this gives us the opportunity to stimulate our
thinking more than ever and soar with the Eagles!
The opportunities that we have in our industry nationally and
globally are enormous and the challenges of life and business makes
us stronger: our challenges must elevate our thinking to become
more and give more!

- Sarina Russo now has 1100 staff
- Sarina Russo Job Access (Australia) - 5 star offices
Mitchelton, Toowong & Fortitude Valley. Our Mitchelton
office is the number one office in Queensland and the number one
Stream 4 office in Australia
- Sarina Russo Job Access NEIS is the number one performing
provider in Australia. Helped start up 746 businesses
nationally over the past year
- Sarina Russo Job Access Disability Employment Services has
commenced nearly 500 people with severe work barriers into programs
since March 2010 with over 130 of them being placed into a
job.
- Sarina Russo Job Access (Great Britain) - Celebrates one year
of Flexible New Deal operations on 5 October 2010. In conjunction
with our Community Task Force contract we operate 14 employment
service sites across West Midlands, London and Brighton
- Sarina Russo Schools | Australia continues to maintain its
position as an industry leader in vocational and English language
education. In an extremely tough international education
market, Sarina Russo Schools | Australia continues to deliver while
competitors have closed their doors.
- Sarina Russo Institute - Skills for Industry has trained over
1200 unemployed people with job ready skills and
qualifications. Due to the success of our Productivity Places
Program and Skilling Queensland program we have secured an extended
training contract with the Queensland State Government worth $10
million.
- Russo Recruitment is on track for significant growth this year.
Temp numbers doubled since the Global Financial Crisis. Commercial
client retention is excellent and Gross Sales for our Government
business, to August 2010, are up 64%
- Sarina Russo Apprenticeship Services has over 60,000
apprentices on our books and continues to grow our national
business with clients such as Telstra, QANTAS and
Westfarmers. We successfully tendered for the Federal
Government's Apprentice Kickstart Extension program
- VOICE continues to assist 100s of unemployed jobseekers address
psychological challenges which has led to employment, education and
positive life changing outcomes. VOICE delivers a
professional supervision service for psychologists-in-training and
offers a private psychology service to the community. Appointed to
a national panel of assessors for Disability Employment Services
clients in assessing their needs in the workplace
- James Cook University Brisbane held its first graduation
ceremony in Brisbane in September 2010. Over 100 students graduated
with degrees from the JCU Faculty of Law Business and the Creative
Arts. JCUB currently has just under 1000 post and under
graduate international and domestic students enrolled
